Alcohol and Violence against women in Mbulu District

A baseline study was conducted in three administrative wards of Mbulu Tanzania namely Haydom(Endaharghadaat and Haydom), Kainam (Kainam,Tsa’ayo) Uhuru (Aya-labe and Uhuru) in August, 2011.The ones in the brackects were the villages for each ward were the baseline study was conducted.   Alcohol and Violence against women in Mkuranga and Monduli Districts

 There were plenty of alcoholic beverages locally available in both districts; traditionally made beverages were more numerous, and more commonly used than industrial types, especially in the rural areas. Of the two districts, Monduli had more alcoholic beverages available than Mkuranga.
