Special fund sought to cover kidney patients

Plans are underway for the construction of a kidney transplant centre at the TMJ Hospital in Dar es Salaam however, there is still a dire and immediate need to establish a special funding facility for Kidney patients because their treatment requires a lot of money be it inside or outside of Tanzania, resolved the World’s Kidney Day gathering at Dar es Salaam’s TMJ Hospital.

 

The medical care stakeholders and patients called on the government to set up special fund to support treatment of kidney and related diseases, which most of the patients cannot afford.Read More
