Private sector urged to invest in health sector

Temeke Regional Medical Officer Dr Aman Malima has appealed to health sector stakeholders and private firms to complement government efforts to improve the sector by helping boost service delivery in dispensaries within their geographical areas.

 

Malima made the appeal shortly after receiving 50 mattresses donated by Citizens Foundation to help maternity wards at the depleted district hospitals.

 

According to the medical doctor, many dispensaries are overwhelmed with basic challenges like equipment and material which calls for joint efforts from the government and private companies to address.For more information
